Hakaisha
We found this little guy on 9/23/2004 wandering in front of our house. He was about eight weeks old and weighed 1.4 pounds. The vet said he was about 48 hours from starving to death. We originally weren't going to keep him -- just foster him until he got big enough and strong enough to go to a loving home. That, however, was not his plan. And he won. Just look at that face -- how could he not?
He's still small and skinny for his age -- 13 weeks old and only 2.5 pounds. He had a pretty massive load of worms, and we've been battling them so he gets enough nutrition. We're going to test him for FIP when he's 16 weeks -- any earlier than that and the tests are not conclusive. But we love him and he's the new little brother to our boys.
